Poultry Management Services were contacted by a client in the West Midlands for oyster shell. This is not a product we stock as we have our own alternative, D3 with Calcium.
Calcium D3 Liquid is a combination product designed to increase the uptake of Calcium to help with bone formation and shell strength.
Our client trialled one shed on Calcium D3 Liquid and another shed on oyster shell. After a follow up the client advised that they were very impressed with the D3 and had noticed a considerable improvement in shell strength. Before hand they had issues with soft shells and too many seconds being removed from the belts.
A repeat order of D3 for the second shed was sent that day on a next day delivery service.
