Lucerne is a better alternative to other products on the market such as a straw and hay as it contains a high fibre content and high levels of methionine.
Fibre and Methionine are the two ingredients that have major effect on aggression and pecking within the flock. Due to the manufacturing process of Lucerne it has the effect of reducing the possibility of Mycotoxins or Salmonella being contained within the product which would be a potential problem with straw or hay that have been baled off the field. Lucerne is 85% Dry matter.
Each bale is individually wrapped, banded and is 20kg.
