TBR10 Flow Sensor

This flow sensor can be used with any Select Doser.
The smallest flow sensor, this one can work with water flows of 3 to 300 l/hr.

Description

The TBR10 water flow sensor is a finely engineered, sensitive and delicate device to detect extremely low flows of water.

If this sensor is used correctly, it can give many years of good service.

Normally supplied ready plugged for ease of connection to the Select Doser. Cable colour definitions are shown in case independent connection is required.

This sensor has a closed construction. In case of malfunction, inspect the unit to determine if any foreign particles (hair, feathers, vegetation etc.) are preventing the free-running of the turbine. Delicate tweezers can sometimes be used to remove unwanted debris.

Protect from water shock.

It is preferable to protect the TBR10 flow sensor by using a water filter upstream of the sensor.

Uses – This is a specialist flow sensor that should be used only when particularly small water flows need to be measured. One common use is for measuring the water flow to a number of very young birds, or the flow to quail or pheasants.

** Water flows are often detected as low as 1 l/hr although accuracy at this flow level is not guaranteed.

See also the data sheets for the VTY10, VTH25 and VTH40 flow sensor (all larger capacity).
